The 1066 Pipes and Drums have the capability and versatility to play with military bands such as the Coldstream Guards and Royal Signals at the Shrewsbury Flower Show or to open proceedings at a local fete.
No event is too big or small for us and we can tailor requirements to suit any occasion.
Solo pipers for weddings and the likes of New Year and Burns night are regular requests and we will always try to accommodate any request given reasonable notice.

On behalf of the organizing committee our sincere thanks to you and the Band for supporting our “Fayre” on the 2rd June. Every one said how impressive you all were and without doubt you were the Star attraction !!!
Next year we are organizing the “Fayre”on Saturday May 4th, 1 to 4pm, and hopefully shall have the Maypole with the local children dancing, and naturally if you and the Band could come we would be so pleased ! I await your decision !!

I am now pleased to write, on behalf of the Society, to thank the 1066 Pipes & Drums for the performances they presented at this year’s Shrewsbury Flower Show.
I have already received a number of comments from people saying how much they had enjoyed hearing a Pipe Band at the Flower Show, and suffice it to say that your performances certainly lived up to all expectations. Thank you also for so readily agreeing to provide an additional performance on Saturday afternoon when one of the ShowJumping competitions finished particularly early.
